wenty years ago, I spoke with my colleague, the great guitarist Miguel Lobet. I asked him what he used to teach beginners. He answered that he began with repetition of open strings, even if the beginner did not know what notes he was playing, in order to train the fingers. That method has proven itself because it is very difficult, initially, to know the position of notes on the guitar.
